Sid Meier's Pirates! is an action-adventure game that places players in the role of an up-and-coming privateer looking to get rich and make a name for himself in the pirate infested waters of the historical Spanish Maine. Features include a variety of pirate-themed actions including ship customization, mini-games ranging from Sword Fighting and Ship Combat to Dancing and Lock-picking, treasure hunting, ongoing relations with the ladies of the surrounding towns and conflicts with representations of some of the most famous real pirates of the era.
